Team Convenor: Joanna Lockie
The motivation and purpose of the Care Team is “To facilitate and encourage activities which support and care for all members of our Congregation through supporting the development of their spiritual and physical well-being.” The ‘Pastoral Care Team’ which includes the Elders of the Congregation falls under the broader Care Team. Many of the groups which promote fellowship and mutual friendship within our church including whole of church multi -age camping activities also fall under this team.
The Care Team’s responsibilities include sharing with the Ministry team in building up the Congregation in faith and love and nurturing the members and adherents in their growth in grace through regular contact, caring and praying for those in need. They also share with Church Council and the Ministry team in the spiritual oversight of the Congregation and oversight of our Circles of Care. Management of the membership rolls and transfers as well as recommending recognition of baptisms and of those who on profession of faith seek to become members also falls under the responsibilities of this Team as does the follow-up of new attendees and families involved in baptisms and funerals.
Team Convenor: Faye Holmes
The motivation and purpose of the Discipleship Team is "To teach, encourage and grow followers of Jesus". They are responsible for ensuring that members of the congregation are provided with opportunities to learn about God and His Word and for mentoring and developing members and attendees of the church with the intent of equipping them with the skills to be responsible for their own faith development. This is currently achieved by an innovative and enjoyable program of activities and events aimed at all ages.

The motivation and purpose of the Finance and Administration Team is ‘To provide the financial, administration, property management and communication services needed for the Congregation to function effectively according to its mission and Strategic Plan.’
The Finance and Administration Team’s responsibilities include developing, implementing & reviewing a strategic plan for the property, finances, office administration & systems of the Congregation as well as provision of financial statements for the Church Council as required. As well as being responsible for banking and insurance, this Team has oversight of all finances of the Congregation including stewardship & major fund raising activities and maintenance of the property (grounds / buildings & facilities). It also oversights the Church Office including the resourcing of the administration, resourcing & systems of the office and various church communications and publications including preparation of regular notices & newsletters, data input into database systems, internet site, etc. They also manage the applications for blue cards and the church’s records and are responsible for ensuring the accounts of all of the Church’s organisations are duly audited & presented to the Church Council & Congregation.
Team Convenor: Malcolm Campbell
The motivation and purpose of the Outreach Team is “To help our neighbours by sharing God’s love, on a local, regional and international basis.” We accept this biblical challenge to put into action the words of Jesus “To love your neighbour as yourself” and believe assisting those in need strengthens our relationship with God.
The Team’s responsibilities include developing, implementing and reviewing plans for the outreach mission of the Congregation and communicating information on mission & outreach activities / events. They also approve outreach focused fund raising events and make recommendations to the Church Council concerning local, Australian and overseas missions as well as provide oversight and action as necessary to meet community outreach needs and a referral process for crisis management of local families/individuals. In undertaking this role they also interact appropriately & caringly with individuals and/or communities in need.

The motivation and purpose of the Worship Team is ‘To celebrate the life changing power of God through innovative contemporary worship & support the Ministry Team in enabling dreams to become reality having due regard to traditional liturgies & worship practices.’
The Worship Team’s responsibilities include facilitating innovative contemporary worship in the life of the Congregation that celebrates the life changing power of God by supporting the Ministry team in the conduct of worship and in administration of the sacraments. This Team is focused on the provision of worship on Sunday mornings as well as facilitating combined, family and other special services that involve a cross section of ages and interests. They also work to help worshippers develop skills that aid worship (musicians, computer, sound, drama, puppetry, etc.) as well as the mentoring of younger members of the congregation to be more involved in worship.
