This involves a one hour Group Fitness session designed for people over 50. It is a great way for those in the ‘mature’ age group, both men and women, to improve functional fitness and flexibility. You are welcome to join at any time. Our experienced and qualified instructors offer a variety of exercises to suit older (read ‘more worn’) bodies. You can just turn up when you are able.
Day Fellowship meets on a monthly basis for a variety of programs including craft and meetings or outings for lunch or movies. The group has traditionally provided catering for times of need including funerals as well as providing care packages of home baked goods to those who are more vulnerable.
Meets mostly on the second Monday morning of the month providing opportunity for those in the older age bracket that may be less mobile to share in morning tea, activities, guest speakers and friendship.
For men of all ages, although ideally suited to those who are retired, this group meets several times a year for outings, talks, barbeques and various activities. A highlight of the meeting is the conversation over a delicious morning tea.
